This year's 69^th anniversary of camp liberation had a special character.

As each year, few of the remaining survivors of Holocaust and Auschwitz prisoners took their part in the celebration. Also present were representatives of the government of Poland and Israeli Kneset. In his speech, the director of the Memory Place Auschwitz, dr Piotr M.A. Cywiński stated, that this year's celebration is the beggining of preparations for the next year round, seventieth anniversary of camp liberation. Accuring to 2014 round anniversary of  events from 1944 will lead us to the anniversary in 2015, when we will celebrate 70 years from deportation to Auschwitz the Jews from Hungary, 70^th anniversary of deportation of  Poles arrested during Warsaw Uprising, 70^th anniversary of extermination of the Jews from the terminated ghetto in Łódź, 70^th anniversary of clearing of the Zigeunerlager in Birkenau and finally 70^th anniversary of the Sonderkommando prisoners rebellion.

Representatives of our foundation were also present at the celebration held by State Museum Auschwitz – Birkenau, they laid flowers at the statue commemorating victims of the sub camps located at Dworcowa street.
