City Council in the resolution Brzeszczach NO XXXIX/395/14 of 24 April 2014. decided to transfer our Foundation in use for a period of 25 years the old school building in Bor. In the period of the camp Auschwitz-Birkenau were here imprisoned women from the penal company.

On 11 and 14 April we were visited by the fourth grade students of Primary School No. 2. of Nicolaus Copernicus in  Brzeszcze. Together with their teacher, Mrs. Jolanta Górka, they became acquainted with the exposition in the historic bath house Jawischowitz sub-camp, prepared by our Foundation. Tutor of the group made closer to pupils the story of the sub-camp, the fate of the prisoners, and Auschwitz-Birkenau. Mostly, young people enjoyed the collected artifacts, which completed the picture lessons that Mrs Górka prepared for them.

The State Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation has granted our Foundation the patronage.  The Director of the Museum, Dr. Piotr Cywiński, while expressing appreciation for the activities and objectives of our Foundation, states: “This activity that aims at protecting the heritage of the victims of numerous sub-camps of Auschwitz deserves appreciation. The Foundation of  Memory Sites Near Auschwitz-Birkenau is an opportunity to fill the history of Auschwitz, a history situated away from the main camp, but nevertheless permeated with many human tragedies. We all need memory today, just as memory needs all of us."

The authorities of our Foundation had the honor to host mrs attorney Monika Krawczyk, CEO of Foudation for Protection of Jewish Heritage in Poland, dr Piotr M.A. Cywiński, director of Auschwitz-Birkenau National Museum in Oświęcim and mr Piotr K. Kadlčik, president of Jewish Communities Society in Poland. Visit of representaives from institutions with such great role in forming cultural and historical awareness both in country and out in the world, is great distinction for us.

14thof March this year, togehter with miss Iwona Matusik, headmistress of junior high number 2 in Brzeszcze, we hosted 213 students from Israel. Pupils from Iloni D Tel Aviv came to us accompanied by their teachers and the school headmistress, mrs Rachel Hadayo.

We have been visited by the 4th graders from primary school no 2 of Copernicus in Brzeszcze. With their teacher, Mrs Maria Czubaty, they were introduced to the exhibition in historical bath building of sub camp Jawischowitz, prepared by our Foundation. The tutoress of the group, made them closer with the history of the sub camp, fate of prisoners and history of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The children were especially interested in artifacts, which completed the picture for lesson prepared for them by Mrs Czubaty.
